The Okachi Charity Foundation (OCF) embarked on an ambitious project to revitalize Port Harcourt Nursery & Primary School, aiming to create a more inspiring and healthy learning environment for students and staff.
OCF’s efforts brought about significant improvements. The school entrance received a fresh coat of paint, while two nursery classrooms were refurbished and redesigned. Access to clean water became a reality with a new water tank, running water system, and a refurbished tank stand. Upgraded facilities included refurbished classrooms and a library, complemented by 40 new desks and chairs. Promoting a clean and healthy learning space, a cleaning water system was installed, and the library and storage room were thoroughly cleaned with new books donated for the students.
The Foundation’s commitment extended to staff support by employing three non-teaching staff for school maintenance.
