Aliyu Adamu is a soft-spoken Nursery 3 pupil whose calm demeanor gently conceals an exceptional mind. Though young and reserved, his academic performance consistently surpasses his grade level a quiet brilliance that cannot be ignored.
That’s why Aliyu has been selected as a 2025 academic scholarship recipient to ensure his talent is nurtured, his confidence strengthened, and his future secured.
His journey is just beginning, and we are honored to walk beside him as he grows into the promise we already see.

Twelve-year-old Sophia Keinye is a bright Primary 6 pupil with a dream as tender as it is determined to one day become a nurse.
When her father brought her to school, he was unable to pay her fees or complete her registration. With quiet courage, Sophia showed up each day in slippers, without a uniform, yet never missed a single class. Her presence was a silent declaration: she was here to learn.
When her story reached the Okachi Charity Foundation, we knew we had to act. Sophia has since been awarded a full academic scholarship covering her tuition, uniform, shoes, and essential learning materials.
Through this support, she can now complete her primary education with dignity, pride, and renewed hope.
Sophia’s journey is a powerful reminder that behind every overlooked child is a future waiting to unfold and at OCF, we are honored to walk alongside her.

Unity Promise is a quiet wonder in Nursery 3 a child whose intelligence, curiosity, and composure leave a lasting impression. Though still so young, she consistently performs far beyond her grade level, with a focus and clarity rare for her age.
At Okachi Charity Foundation, we recognize brilliance when we see it. Unity has been selected as one of our 2025 academic scholarship recipients not just for what she’s already achieved, but for the remarkable possibilities that lie ahead.
She is a rare gem, and we are honored to walk beside her in these early chapters of what we believe will be an extraordinary story.

Wisdom Chidebem, a Nursery 2 pupil, has been awarded a 2025 academic scholarship by Okachi Charity Foundation for one simple reason his mind shines far beyond his years.
Though his future path is still unfolding, his calm focus and quiet intelligence set him apart.
We believe in the promise he carries, and we are proud to nurture that spark as he grows into all he is meant to be.

Bright John, a Primary 4 pupil, has been awarded a full academic scholarship through the Okachi Charity Foundation’s 2025 Sponsorship Programme a recognition of her remarkable dedication and top-of-the-class performance.
Orphaned at a young age and currently living under the care of a guardian in Port Harcourt, Bright’s daily walk to school is an act of quiet resilience. Often dressed in simple sportswear, without a proper school uniform, she has never allowed her circumstances to dim her spirit or determination to learn.
At Okachi Charity Foundation, we see beyond the struggle we see the spark. Bright is not only deserving of this scholarship; she is a reflection of why we exist to invest in children whose potential is greater than their present.
We believe in her future in the promise of what she can become when given the opportunity. And that is why we are walking this journey with her, ensuring that no child’s dream is left behind simply because of hardship.

Testimony Godwin is a Basic 1 pupil whose name carries the weight of her story a happy child with a resilient heart.
Over the past two years, during Okachi Charity Foundation’s visits to Port Harcourt Primary, Testimony was always the cheerful one eager to speak, radiant with curiosity. But on our most recent visit, something had changed. She sat quietly, withdrawn, her usual spark missing. We soon learned why.
Despite attending school all year, her parents could not afford to pay her examination fees. And so, while her classmates prepared for the next step, Testimony was left behind not for lack of effort, but because of circumstance.
Though not at the top of her class, her resilience, quiet determination, and spirit capture exactly why OCF exists. Her story moved us to act.
She has now been awarded a full academic scholarship through the 2025 Sponsorship Programme, ensuring she will never again sit on the sidelines of her own education.
Testimony is a reminder that not every bright future begins with straight A’s sometimes, it begins with someone saying, “We see you. And you deserve a chance.”

Sunday Miracle is a Primary 4 pupil whose name now echoes with renewed meaning. When Okachi Charity Foundation first began its assessment in his school, his appearance and circumstances led many to assume he was an orphan. His teachers described him as unserious, unteachable even beyond redemption. But we saw something else.
It was Ms. Faith, the founder of Okachi Charity Foundation, who looked into his eyes and remembered her own story. At the same age, she too had been written off by a teacher until she stood up and said, “My name is Faith, and I had faith I would become everything I dreamed of.”
To Sunday, she said: “Your name is Miracle now show them you are one.”
Today, Sunday has been awarded a full academic scholarship through OCF. He arrives at school each day with joy in his steps, never missing a class no longer invisible, no longer dismissed.
His story reminds us that every child has something sacred within them and sometimes, all they need is for someone to believe.
